A Family-Owned Real Estate Portfolio Built on Long-Term Thinking
Ivy Park Properties is a family-owned and operated real estate investment portfolio with assets across five U.S. states and the Caribbean. The business began with Jac Parks’ father, J.D. Parks, who used the success of a small-town electronics business to fund real estate acquisitions and build the foundation of the portfolio.
That same entrepreneurial discipline continues to guide Ivy Park today. The firm focuses on long-term buy-and-hold real estate investment, acquiring and operating properties with clear income potential, practical market value, and a defined role within the broader portfolio.
In 2020, J.D. retired and passed management control to Jac. Since then, Ivy Park has continued to operate with the same core philosophy: simple ideas, executed well, over time. The company’s next stage of growth includes future development ambitions, including an ultra-luxury hotel project on the St. Lucia coastline.

Leadership Shaped by Experience, Discipline, and Execution
Ivy Park Properties is led by Jac Parks, Managing Director, with the continued influence of the family legacy established by his father, J.D. Parks.
J.D. built the foundation of Ivy Park through entrepreneurship, long-term ownership, and disciplined real estate acquisition. His approach shaped the company’s investment philosophy and created the portfolio Ivy Park continues to manage and grow today.
Jac brings a complementary background in leadership, finance, and operational discipline. Before joining Ivy Park full time, Jac served eight years as an enlisted Navy SEAL with SEAL Team Five. He later earned his MBA from Duke University and worked as a Private Banker at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank.
That background brings a practical leadership style to Ivy Park. The company continues to focus on responsible growth and long-term ownership, with real estate assets selected for their ability to hold value over time.
